I am a thirty year old girl that discovered a love for running in 2010. I ran my first half marathon in November 2011. Since then I ran 3 more halfs. I signed up for my first marathon but since I am pregnant I wont be running Disney in 2013. Here you will find stuff about me, my life in FL, my running and whatever I feel like blogging.

Most of the time I will blog stuff in english and german. This way my folks in Germany can read everything as well. Thanks for visiting! I hope to see you again soon...

101 things in 1001 days

I stumbled upon this 101 things in 1001 days during one of my internet searches. Ever since them I have been thinking about the idea. I started to write down some things I would love to complete in 1001 days. And finally here is my list…

101 things in 1001 days was created by Michael Green from New Zealand and it quickly spread around the world.

The Challenge: 
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days. 

The Criteria: 
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part). 

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple challenges such as New Year’s resolutions or a ‘Bucket List’. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.
