New bed
This morning we bought a bed, a slatted base and a mattress at IKEA. We arrived home around noon and Manuel started then to built up the bed. I drove the rental car back and did some more shopping. When I came back Manuel was finished with the bed. We both built up the slatted base and we finished about 30 minutes ago. Manuel jumped in the bed right away to take a nap - after 6 hours of hard work...

The car is here!
Norbert and I went to Orlando today to pick up Manuels BMW. It took us a bit to get it. They cleaned it and then I needed to look over it if I find some new scratches or bumps or so. I found a lil scratch at the front bumper but it did not look soo bad. We got a check for that right away. Manuel returned Norberts car and now he can use it again. We are in our apartment for the 4. day now. Manuel is at work and I will get up soon. Posting this from the iPhone. :-) On Saturday and Sunday we did a lot of shopping - there is a lot of stuff we needed for our new apartment and we did some grocery shopping too. After we searched for a few days Norbert and I found a nice apartment complex near Brandon. This complex was just built in February and that means it is new. They do not have 3 bed room apartments anymore but the 2 bed room apartments are really big I think (compared to what I have seen before). All the appliances are new and included in the rental price. Looking for an apartment
Norbert and I went apartment hunting the last couple of days. We saw at least 15 different apartment complexes and I learned something really important. They do not have high standards in these apartment. Most of them are really old (we saw one that was built in 1977) and a lot smelled like nobody opened a window for months. We have been at home today. I finished sorting my faces in iPhoto. Did not do much today. Tomorrow I like to get out of the house and do something. ~**~ ~**~ Wir waren heut den ganzen Tag daheim. Dropbox – genial
Dropbox ist ein kostenloser Service im Internet. Jeder Dropbox hat kann bis zu 2 GB an Daten auf den Server laden, aber nicht nur das - man kann auch Ordner anlegen, die man mit anderen teilen kann (shared folders) und dann kann man ueber die Dropbox ganz einfach Daten austauschen. I sm sitting outside and enjoy the fun. It’s a little windy but that is feeling actally really nice. I am surfing the net and still working on my iPhoto library. ~**~ ~**~ Ich sitze draussen und geniesse die Sonne. Es ist ein kleines bisschen windig aber das ist sehr angenehm. We went to the Social Security Office today in Tampa. Unfortunatly the computer system was down today and they could not process it. Now I have to wait again till I get a letter from them with my SSN. I am still waiting for my SSN and my green card to arrive. Nothing showed up at the mailbox yet. I am not concerned about the green card because that can take some time. Tarpon Springs
Today we went to Tarpon Springs and to Sunset Beach. Tarpon Springs is a town on the west coast of Florida and there is a greek community. They came over here to do sponge search and finding work. That means they went out to sea and got natural sponges from the sea to sell them. We watched a vhs about the sponge industry and we walked down the main road.
