Today was the last day of my C25K program. It was week 9 day 3 (W9D3). I meet with the other BRA people at the Y and then I started running without the warm up walk - or so I thought. At the end I found out that I run 35 min instead of 30 min. I tried to tell the app that I did not want the warm up walk but for some reason it went wrong. After the run I had another 5 min cool down walk. When the 5 mins were over and I was still not at my car I decided to run a little bit more and did another 30 seconds.

Heute war der letzte Tag von meinem C25K Programm - Woche 9 Tag 3 (W9D3). Ich hab mich mit den BRA’lern an er YMCA getroffen. Von dort bin ich losgelaufen (ohne das vorherige Aufwärm-Gehen) und eigentlich sollte ich 30 min laufen. Aber am Ende waren es 35 min. Ich hab dem App anfangs gesagt, dass ich das Aufwärm-Gehen nicht machen möchte, aber irgendwas hab ich falsch gemacht. Denn das App hat das Aufwärm-Gehen mitgerechnet. Super - ich hab mehr gemacht als ich eigentlich wollte/sollte. :-) Am Ende des Laufes hatte ich noch 5 min gehen zum abkühlen und da ich dann immer noch etwas von meinem Auto weg war bin ich noch weitere 30 Sekunden gelaufen.

Thanks to Mr. R. we had tickets for the Buccaneer game today. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers played against the St. Louis Rams. I liked the game and the atmosphere in the stadium. Unfortunately I do not understand the rules of American Football but it was a fun day anyway. I took lots of pictures and little movies with my camera. The Buccaneers were really lucky because they scored 20 seconds before the game was over and won the game… Yeah!

Dank Herrn R. hatten wir Tickets für das Buccaneer Spiel heute. Die Tampa Bay Buccaneers haben gegen die St. Louis Rams gespielt. Das Spiel und die Atmosphäre im Stadium haben mir gut gefallen. Leider hab ich gar keine Ahnung von den Regeln des American Football. Aber trotzdem war es ein super Tag. Ich hab viele Bilder gemacht und einige kleine Videos mit meiner Kamera. Die Buccaneers hattten echt Glück und haben 20 Sekunden vor dem Ende des Spiels noch Punkte gemacht und dann gewonnen… Juchu!

I don’t know where my thoughts are today… Earlier this evening I started doing laundry. After the first load of clothes was in the dryer and the second load was in the washer I realized that I forget to add laundry detergent into the washer for the first - yes, already done - load. Wow. I washed and (halfway) dried clothes that were washed without detergent. Wow again. I wonder were my thoughts were when I started that load…

I guess I just wash it again but not tonight.

Ich hab keine Ahnung, wo ich heute meinen Kopf hatte…

Früher am Abend hab ich angefangen Wäsche zu waschen. Nachdem die erste Maschine im Trockner war und ich die zweite Ladung in der Waschmaschine angestellt hatte, fiel mir auf, dass ich die erste Ladung ohne Waschmittel gewaschen hatte. Wow. Ich hab Kleider gewaschen und (halbwegs) getrocknet ohne Waschmittel zu benutzen. Wow. Ich würd gern wissen, wo ich da mit meinen Gedanken war.

Naja, jetzt muss ich sie halt noch mal waschen. Aber erst morgen, nicht mehr heute Abend.

Today we have been at the Tampa Oktoberfest. We both drunk some beer, had some good Brats and at the end we found a company that drove my car home and the got picked up here. *yeah*

Heute waren wir auf dem Tampa Oktoberfest . Wir beide haben einige Biere getrunken, einige Bratwürste gegessen und am Ende haben wir eine Firme gefunden, die unser Auto heimgefahren hat und dann hier abgeholt wurde. *yeah*

Diese Bilder hängen bei meinem Zahnarzt auf der Toilette und ich fand sie schön.

Today I have another appointment at the dentist. My last appointment was just a few weeks ago and they did a deep cleaning on my left side. Today they will fix a little hole and then do the cleaning on the right side.

Did I tell you I do not like going to the dentist? Actually every time I have to go I am really tense - I feel a little like a pretzel. But I know it is better to go and I will go. I just hope I will not take super long and I am out of the office asap.

Heute hab ich einen neuen Termin beim Zahnarzt. Ich war vor ein paar Wochen dort und da haben sie eine Tiefenreinigung auf der linken Seite gemacht. Heute wird ein kleines Loch ausgebessert und die andere Seite gereinigt.

Hab ich schon erwähnt, dass ich nicht gerne zum Zahnarzt gehe? Jedes Mal wenn ich da hin muss fühle ich mich wie eine Brezel - so angespannt bin ich. Aber ich weiss, dass es besser ist und deswegen geh ich zum Zahn-Doc. Ich hoffe nur, dass ich schnell fertig bin und schnellstmöglich wieder aus der Praxis draussen bin.

Today I was a really sleepy head! :-) I sleep till after 12:30pm and now I feel really good and awake. I have no idea how I could stay in bed for so long but I could. Now I will get ready to ride the bicycle - just a short tour - maybe 3 miles.

Heute morgen war ich ein richtiger Schlafkopf! :-) Ich hab bis nach 12:30 Uhr geschlafen aber jetzt fühle ich mich richtig gut und völlig ausgeschlafen. Ich hab keine Idee warum ich so lange im Bett bleiben konnte. Jetzt werde ich ein bisschen Fahrrad fahren gehen - nur eine kleine Runde - etwa 5 km.

Today I waited for UPS to deliver a parcel. I waited the whole day and the UPS guy showed up at 7:20 pm. Wow. I was kinda pissed because I needed to leave the house and do some things but I wouldn’t want to miss the delivery. Anyway - I left at 7:30 pm and still got my things done.

In the parcel was a touchscreen monitor for our bed room. Now it is connected to Manuels laptop and we could watch some podcasts there or listen to music. I guess that is what will mostly do with it. The 23 inch wide screen is really nice but if you sit in bed and try to watch a movie - then the screen is a bit to small. But that is totally okay with me - I am not sure if I really need a screen in our bedroom.

Heute hab ich den ganzen Tag auf UPS gewartet, da diese mir ein Paket liefern sollten. Der UPS Mann kam dann endlich um 19:20 Uhr. Ich war schon etwas genervt, da ich noch ein paar Besorgungen machen wollte aber auch die Lieferung nicht verpassen wollte. Na ja, ich hab das Haus dann um 19:30 Uhr verlassen und trotzdem alle meine Besorgungen geschafft.

Im Paket war ein Touchscreen Monitor für unser Schlafzimmer. Nun ist dieser an Manuels Laptop angeschlossen und wir können Podcasts sehen oder Musik hören. Ich denke mal, dass wir die Hauptaufgabe von dem neuen Monitor sein. Der 23 inch (58 cm) grosse Bildschirm ist zwar schön aber wenn wir im Bett sitzen (also an der anderen Wand des Raumes), dann ist der Monitor etwas klein zum Filme gucken. Aber das ist ok mit mir, denn ich bin mir immer noch nicht sicher, ob wir wirklich einen Monitor im Schlafzimmer brauchen…
