Ok, I just got time to go to the Do Life Forum and read about this weeks challenge. I hope I can keep up with it. I am still not back to 100%, I am still coughing but feeling much better than last week.
Go back to Day One: New Year, and pull out your assessments. Where were you and where did you want to be?
At the beginning of the year I was newly motivated (it’s a new year, right?) and had a list of things I want to do this year. Some things are long-term projects and some were short-term goals. After reading Ben’s “it has to be measurable” I went back and re-assessed these goals. Modified them. Make them measurable.
I started on at least half of these goals. I have not finished yet. But I will.
Then I made this list for the do life challenge. Month 1 - January. I wrote down 5 goals for January and wrote about them here. I managed to do 4 out of 6 and wrote about it here.
Go back to the end of January and do the same thing.
My february goals were listed here. And it is nearly time to look over them. One more day of February remains. I will write about them tonight or tomorrow.
Where are you today?
I am down in weight. Not as much as I would like but still down.
I re-did my girly push-ups. At the beginning of January I could do 18. Today I did 36 before I had to start coughing and had to stop. I could have done a couple more but not sure how many.
What else did you want to improve?
I want to improve myself. Yeah, I know not the smart answer. And not measurable. So I try again. I want to improve my weight. Keep loosing. Keep running. Do a half in April. Recover from this cold/flu thing I had last week. Have a fun time with my parents (they will be here tomorrow). Enjoy my time with them. I want to go back to the 4 Good Things and blog them. I want to continue to do Healing touch work. Make time for volunteering. I want to learn spanish. Many things I want to do - now I just have to make them into do-able goals and I should be go to go.
This week we’re pushing hard.
I am not sure how hard I can push with this cold still lingering. But I know I have to. I have a 15K on Saturday and I am not trained for it. It scared me a little. But I did this distance before. I know I can do it. I just have to hang in there. Maybe talk a walking break or two but I will cross the finish line and get one of these nice medals. I want that bling!
I also want to watch my food intake. My parents are here and we might go out a bit more often than not and I want to make healthy choices.
Pick one of the following and do it every night.
Not sure which one I should pic. Maybe the pushups or the jumping jacks. I know I can do 100 sit-ups nor can I do 40 burpees. Maybe the planks.
PUSH THIS WEEK.
