Melanie Does Life - being pregnant :-)

I am at Atlanta airport waiting for my connection to Tampa. Had a good flight from Frankfurt to here. Unfortunately it took a long time to get through customs and immigration but then I was lucky enough that I did not have to change the terminal for my next gate. I miss Germany but I can’t wait to be at home again.

Ich bin am Flughafen in Atlanta und warte auf meinen Anschlussflug nach Tampa. Ich hatte einen angenehmen Flug von Frankfurt nach Atlanta. Leider hat es dann lange gedauert bis ich durch die Einwanderung und den Zoll durch war. Allerdings hatte ich dann das Glück, dass ich das Terminal für mein nächstes Gate nicht wechseln musste. Ich vermisse Deutschland aber bin sehr froh bald wieder zu Hause zu sein.

After a 3 hour delay in Detroit I was finally on my way to Amsterdam. I made my connection flight to Frankfurt with 10 mins to spare. Then I hopped on the train to meet my mom 1.5 hours later near my hometown at the train station. I was tired and sooo ready for a shower.

I also attended a Tupperware-Party the same night at my sister’s house and had a lot of fun there. Last night I went running with my mom’s local running group. They had a slower and a faster group and I went with the slow one. That was the right pace for me and I managed to run 4.6 miles - my blister didn’t hurt and it was the first run after IronGirl on Sunday. Today I meet some friends at a local restaurant/pub and we had a great night with some alcohol, delicious food and lots of laughter.

Did somebody ever do a workout at a airport? Any ideas?

Missed my flight to Frankfurt. 😞 The plane from Tampa was late. Now I am rerouted to Amsterdam and then to Frankfurt. But now this plane is late too - something with the emergency lights is going on. We were supposed to leave 40 min ago but we won’t start boarding until 8:30 pm. I don’t like this at all. 😁😖 I will be at least 4 hours later than planed. Now I am hoping that we will be on our way soon.

All this stuff I have to do today. Hopefully I will get everything done. If not, I just hope I get the more important stuff done. *keep my fingers crossed*

• Finish cleaning the house. 2 more rooms to do.
• Go for a run - hopefully I can do 3 miles.
• Sign up for live updates for the flight.
• Get my stuff ready to go to the airport.
• Check if our SunPass has enough money on it for the toll roads.
• Get gas for my car - preferable before I hit the interstate.
• Take a few more pics for the Do Life Challenge.
• Drive to Orlando. Maybe visit some family over there (depends on my time leaving here).
• Pick up my grandparents at the airport in Orlando.

• Whatever I forgot to add to the list and I will remember tomorrow.

Dies ist eine Liste mit Sachen, die ich heute machen möchte. Hoffentlich klappt alles und ich bekomme alles gemacht. Falls nicht, dann hoffe ich, dass die wichtigsten Sachen gemacht werden. *Daumen sind gedrückt*

• Das Haus fertig putzen. 2 Zimmer fehlen noch.
• Laufen gehen - hoffentlich 3 Meilen.
• Die Fluginfos per Email abonnieren.
• Alles einpacken, was ich auf dem Flughafen oder auf dem Weg dorthin brauchen könnte.
• Kontrollieren, dass der SunPass genügend Geld drauf hat für die gebührenpflichtigen Strassen.
• Mein Auto tanken - vorzugsweise bevor ich auf die Autobahn fahre.
• Ein paar Bilder für die Do Life Challenge machen.
• Nach Orlando fahren. Evtl. besuche ich Familie (aber das hängt davon ab, wann ich hier wegkomme).
• Meine Grosseltern auf dem Flughafen abholen.

• Und was auch mimer ich noch vergessen habe.
